Parks & Trails New York in partnership with the New York State Canal Corporation invites a broad range of eligible businesses to obtain bike-friendly certification. The goal of the Bike Friendly New York Business Certification program is to connect bicyclists and other trail users with restaurants, bars, regional breweries, lodging, shops, bike shops and museums. Certified businesses welcome trail users by providing certain amenities and information to help visitors navigate their unique and fun experiences along the trail.
All BFNY-certified businesses receive a window decal ($5) and have the option to purchase durable exterior signage. Certified businesses will be listed on CycletheErieCanal.com.
